Sold A romantic token of affection, made in 1964 in the style of Victorian Era rings. The lilac amethyst heart sparkles softly, surrounded by a halo of single cut imitation diamonds. This would make a sweet Valentine or a delightful gift for someone born in February, as amethyst is one of the February birthstones. Manufacture Modelled in 9ct yellow gold, there is a full suite of British hallmarks inside the band with London assay mark and date letter g for 1962. The focal point of the ring is a lilac coloured natural amethyst, cut into a heart shape. It is held in a multi-prong setting and surrounded by a halo of 12 single cut synthetic spinels, imitating diamonds. All gemstones have been verified by an independent gemologist. The face of the ring measures 10.71 x 11mm. Sits 6.4mm high on the finger. Weighs 2.26 grams. Size (Aus/UK) O (US) 7.25 (International) 55 somewhat resizable.
