Sold A delightful early Victorian bloom in pale greeny blue aquamarine with hot pink ruby accents. This whimsical jewel is from the height of the romantic early Victorian Era, when freshness and light was the theme of the time. Manufacture Modelled in 15ct gold, there are no hallmarks present, which is in keeping for the era or may have been lost in an old resize. The gold purity has been verified by XRF test. The face of the ring is set with three oval cut aquamarines in a trefoil arrangement, with four small rubies – one at the centre and at the intersection of the aquamarine petals. The gemstones have all been verified as natural earth mined gemstones by an independent gemologist. The gemstones are all set in cut-down collets flower is embellished with tiny granulations along the outer perimiter, a detail often found in late Georgian / early Victorian rings. At the shoulders gorgeous scrollwork designs lead to a classic half-round band. The face of the ring measures 11.6mm x 11mm. Sits 4.5mm high on the finger. Weighs 1.97 grams. Size (Aus/UK) I (USA) 4.5 (International) 48 This sweetheart was sized down A Lot sometime in the past, but can be sized back up again at least up to a size M / 6.25 – possibly further if you don’t mind it being slightly egg-shaped.
