This Thunder Bay Amethyst type is unique in that it is primarily Amethyst but can contain up to 23 different mineral inclusions within the crystal. The Auralite 23 mine is operated ethically and although nearby mines produce similar looking minerals the environmentally sensitive hand mining and operation of this facility is exceptional.
