Julia Child is best known for her work teaching Americans to cook. Before she was a PBS star, she was a top secret researcher for the OSS during WWII. While stationed in China, she developed shark repellent that is still used today. Rebecca Hicks produced this portrait for us as part of our Heroes & Inspirations project.
